Job Description
This is an onsite job.
- Lead and manage the entire contract lifecycle: drafting, negotiation, execution, administration, claims, and close-out.
- Drive the tendering and procurement processes: preparation of RFP/RFQ documentation, bidder clarifications, bid evaluation, and award recommendations.
- Review and interpret complex contractual clauses, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, policies, and project requirements.
- Monitor contractor performance, ensuring compliance with obligations, deliverables, milestones, and KPIs.
- Prepare and issue contractual notices, variation orders, and amendments in line with agreed procedures.
- Manage claims and disputes: entitlement analysis, risk assessment, strategy proposals, and negotiation support.
- Maintain contract registers, insurances, bonds, warranties, guarantees, and compliance documentation.
- Provide commercial risk analysis and mitigation strategies for decision-making.
- Collaborate with client’s legal, procurement, finance, and technical teams to ensure alignment of contract strategy.
- Prepare periodic reports, executive dashboards, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Promote continuous improvement in contracting processes and lessons learned for future projects.
Qualifications
- Mandatory: University degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in contract management within large-scale infrastructure, energy, or industrial projects.
- Experience in nuclear reactor projects is highly desirable.
- Experience in industrial processes or related highly regulated industries.
- Strong negotiation, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
