About the job
We are seeking a highly motivated POS Manager to join our team in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This role will oversee a national sales team of 7 representatives, driving sales performance and market growth across the country.
As POS Manager, you will be responsible for leading the execution of sales strategies, monitoring team performance, and ensuring alignment with the company’s global objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, improve operational efficiency, and deliver exceptional results.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the sales team: Manage and motivate a team of 7 sales representatives across Argentina, providing ongoing support, coaching, and training.
- Drive sales strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to implement effective sales plans tailored to the local market, ensuring alignment with global business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze performance: Track key sales metrics, ensuring targets for sales, market share, and profitability are met or exceeded.
- Maintain key customer relationships: Build and nurture strong relationships with key customers, fostering loyalty and expanding existing accounts.
- Resource management: Optimize sales resource allocation and ensure the team is well-equipped with the necessary tools and training to succeed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with marketing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of sales operations.
- Market and competitive analysis: Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities, adjusting sales strategies to capitalize on new opportunities.
About you
Experience:
- Minimum of +3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in FMCH & FMCG industries.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
Soft skills and Technical skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and drive actionable insights.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
Languages:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
