Who we are looking for
We are seeking an HTML Developer to join the Service Delivery Hub (SDH) within the GDC Scaled Marketing & Content Services (SMCS). This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in web development who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality marketing services for our clients.
What you’ll do
- Develop and execute website updates and enhancements using HTML-based web development.
- Translate design requirements into HTML code to create responsive and user-friendly web pages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fulfill client web development needs.
- Identify web anomalies and raise them to the appropriate forums for resolution.
- Ensure all web design and development projects align with client requirements and high-quality standards.
- Suggest and implement automation to optimize delivery time through reusable code and templates.
- Support marketing campaigns by managing web-related aspects and recommending process improvements.
- Work closely with the Web Development Lead to ensure seamless project execution.
What you’ll need
- Proven experience in web development with strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks and tools (e.g., WordPress is a plus).
- Sound understanding of responsive design and user experience principles.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills.
- Ability to write complex HTML and JavaScript code.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience handling large web projects.
- Ability to build effective working relationships within and outside the organization.
- A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computers, or Web Development is required.
