Is looking for a highly organized and technically skilled engineer to help optimize and manage their data platform operations , focusing on user access, permissions, and platform performance . The ideal candidate will also contribute to data engineering efforts as needed.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Manage user access and permissions across Snowflake, Fivetran, Looker, and other tools
Implement and maintain RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) in Snowflake
Optimize platform performance and cost
Coordinate with DevOps for AWS services and networking
Build infrastructure-as-code with Terraform
Monitor platform health and ensure observability practices
Contribute to data engineering projects during off-peak times
Create documentation and operational runbooks
Required Experience & Skills:
3–5 years of experience in data platform operations
Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake administration and RBAC
Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools
Familiarity with AWS and cloud data architecture
Knowledge of data pipeline tools and orchestration
Basic SQL and Python for automation
Strong organizational skills and ability to improve processes
Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration
Technical Environment:
Platforms: Snowflake, AWS, Terraform
Data Tools: Looker, DBT, Airflow
Monitoring: Elementary, Slack
DevOps/Documentation: GitHub Actions, Jira, Confluence
