Responsible for managing and supporting end-to-end immigration processes for employees relocating within and across Market Unit (MU). This role ensures compliance with local immigration laws, coordinates with internal stakeholders, and provides expert guidance to employees and business units on immigration requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Immigration Advisory & Compliance:
Provide expert guidance on immigration policies, procedures, and best practices to employees and leadership.
Stay up to date with immigration regulations to ensure compliance and mitigate potential risks.
Serve as the key point of contact (POC) for all immigration-related queries.
Visa & Work Authorization Management:
Assess and determine the appropriate visa type for employees based on their roles and locations.
Manage visa processing, including in-house applications and coordination with external vendors.
Oversee the entire immigration lifecycle, from initial application to renewal and termination processes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date immigration records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination:
Work closely with HR and legal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding of international employees.
Align with internal teams to streamline immigration-related processes and address any concerns.
Liaise with external vendors to facilitate visa applications and resolve immigration-related issues.
Risk Management & Reporting:
Identify and report potential immigration risks, providing recommendations to mitigate compliance issues.
Conduct V&A risk assessments, reviewing acquired employees’ work authorization documentation and initiating necessary visa actions during PMI.
Maintain detailed records and documentation in the system for tracking immigration status and compliance.
Job Qualifications:
Strong written & verbal communication skills, including advanced PowerPoint & Excel
Sound knowledge of immigration laws and regulatory environments across relevant countries
Ability to simplify complex themes
Proven teaming skills and ability to work with large and complex global teams
Strong Stakeholder Management
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Experience of Change Management; Process Design / Process Improvement
Experience in a cross-border role, successfully managing multiple complex projects at a global level
Strong organizational and time management skills
Considerable experience of delivering brand, marketing and communications projects in global organizations
