Hey there, Future Associate Editor of Sports Content @ Better Collective!

Our Mission is to be the world’s leading digital sports media company, making sports entertainment more engaging and transparent for fans worldwide. At Better Collective, we're the team behind industry-leading brands like Action Network, Playmaker, Bolavip, and FUTBIN. We're looking for a sharp, detail-driven editor who wants to join a team where your work will help shape how millions of sports fans connect with the content they love.

This role is for you if you’re the kind of editor who can turn good stories into great ones. If you love sports and thrive in fast-paced environments where accuracy and timeliness matter, you'll feel right at home here. You’ll play a key role in making sure our sports content is top-notch, accessible, and gets seen by as many people as possible.

How You'll Make an Impact

Here are some of the ways you’ll contribute to our mission:
  • Polish and publish stories written by our betting analysts, making sure every piece is accurate, well-structured, and engaging.
Support sport leads by managing editorial workflows—building files, scheduling stories, and helping writers elevate their work.
Grow your leadership potential by taking ownership of a sport vertical and steering its content strategy.
Jump in wherever needed, especially during peak sports seasons like football, to support editors and keep things running smoothly.

The Ideal Profile: Is This You?
Here’s what helps people succeed in this role:

Experience:

  • 3+ years in sports content, journalism, or digital editing.

  • Strong background in editing and headline writing, especially under deadline pressure.

Toolbox:

  • Comfortable working with CMS platforms and editorial planning tools.

Core Competency:

  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Clear communicator who can work with both internal teams and freelance contributors.

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to learn new tools and systems quickly.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Passion for sports betting and familiarity with the North American market.

  • Familiarity with digital publishing metrics and content performance tracking.

  • Experience using SEO tools like Ahrefs, Moz, or SEMrush.

Meet the Team & Your Future at BC

Your success in the first 90 days:

30: Train on our editorial processes, content management systems and more.
60: Develop an understanding of our business, suite of products and how content fits into that puzzle.
90: Work with senior editors/sport leads to support their processes and content, especially during busy seasons like football.
