Role description:
Leads the staff for global Basis support. Partners with functional expert teams to provide the assistance and solutions required by business units across the world.
Responsibilities include service level and quality management of the delivered services, demand assessment, capacity management, and issue management among others.
The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel/management.
Key Responsibilities include:
Lead the technical team that provides support to the SAP landscape.
Act as technical lead for SAP-related project implementations such as upgrades, consolidations, migration, and enablement of new products and services.
Propose the architecture strategy for new SAP products.
Ensure adequate levels of service for the SAP products.
Work collaboratively with a large group of remote teams that provide services in the areas of development, integrations, infrastructure, cloud services, and others.
Communicate design proposals to key stakeholders to ensure the architecture is understood, opportunities for improvement and savings are identified and delivery of the correct solution is achieved
Interact with external teams/contacts outside of IT to include: working with business stakeholders to understand business plans that might drive the architecture for the SAP solution’s suit.
Work with third parties and partners to understand future trends, innovation, and opportunities for the ERP application landscape.
Proven experience managing and consolidating SAP HANA landscape on cloud platforms.
Required Skills:
Degree in Computer Science, information systems or an equivalent.
Certification in BASIS and SAP integrations tools is a plus.
Minimum 5 years of SAP experience with focus on SAP technical areas in global companies.
S4/HANA on cloud Knowledge.
SAP BTP basic Knowledge.
Supervisory experience is required.
Hands-on attitude with openness to work non-labor hours if emergencies or project implementations requires it.
Advanced/Native verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish (Required). Most frequent contacts are with people in US, India and LatAm.
SAP ISU experience is a plus.
