How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
Support Reporting for NAM (North America), AAL (American Air Liquide), and AHI (American Air Liquide Inc) with statutory and target reporting, including preparation of Board Schedules and Audited Financial Statements, including related footnotes and various committee presentations.Prepare semi annual finance schedules for the American Air Liquide Holdings board meeting, including comments and explanations on figures
Assist with the semi annual Account and Controls Committee presentation
Prepare analysis of Long Term Incentive Plan
Working closely with the Business Service Center in Argentina, assist with Target and Reforecast
Working closely with the Business Service Center in Argentina, assist in monthly comments preparation
Working closely with the Business Service Center in Argentina, validate quarterly standalone financials for Treasury
Assist annually with preparation of footnotes for the audited North American IFRS financial statements
Research new accounting standards and assist with implementation
Coordinate with external auditors on tie out/audit of footnotes
Develop answers to complex questions on figures to be reported
Maintain desk procedures documentation
Assist/drive accounting department projects as needed
Develop ad hoc schedules for planning and decision making, and assist with special projects as necessary
Keep current on International Financial Reporting Standards, and related accounting issues
Accountable for accuracy and consistency of the data reported and used
Comply, without exception, with all safety regulations and guidelines while on Company property

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's Degree (or in progress) in Accounting, Finance, or Management and/or equivalent experience in Accounting related processes.
Experience/Certifications
5+ years experience in a Finance/Accounting role; Master's Degree plus 2+ years Finance/Accounting experience will be considered
CPA or CPA candidate
Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate ability to drive process improvement, must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must possess the energy and drive to execute under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proven ability to work both independently and jointly with varying levels of employee
Proficient with Microsoft and Google tools
Overtime required during critical periods
International Travel Required up to two times per year
Language Requirements
English fluency [C1/B2].
Spanish fluency.
French and/or Portuguese are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Public Accounting work experience
Proficiency in Oracle
