ABOUT THE ROLE
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will be a key business partner with NCR Atleos leadership and will assist all Financial Decision Support and FP&A related activities to support NCR Atleos’ US and Canada Network product and sales teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the Retail and Financial Institution businesses, including the Company’s business models, financials, competitors, and other strategic drivers
- Drive the creation of high-quality executive materials, synthesizing information into key themes and insights. This requires coordination with the commercial team from whom inputs are required, creating and editing content, reviewing with Executive Leadership, and ultimately owning the project timeline
- Build integrated financial models to drive decision-making for new business opportunities, strategic initiatives, and capital investments
- Review opportunities, communicating the financial, operational, and legal impacts to the company
- Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
- Reporting and tracking KPIs related to key strategic initiatives
- This role is expected to identify and drive financial efficiency and profitability for the US, Canada and Mexico
- Prepares financial and business-related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance, rate of return, depreciation, working capital, and investments.
- Routinely communicate business unit and company consolidated financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted, using appropriate metrics. Suggest trends, resulting implications, key actions, and strategic implications.
MAIN QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Economic, Finance or related field
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- English fluent (both verbal and written)
- 2 years of experience in Finance, General Accounting, financial or commercial data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
- Excellent time management skills.
