Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and management of our commercial properties. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal building performance, tenant satisfaction, and cost-effective facility operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily building operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Manage vendor relationships and service contracts
  • Monitor building performance and implement efficiency improvements

Tenant Relations

  • Serve as primary point of contact for tenant inquiries and concerns
  • Coordinate tenant improvements and space modifications
  • Ensure high levels of tenant satisfaction and retention
  • Handle lease administration support

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage annual operating budgets
  • Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare financial reports and variance analyses
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations
  • Implement and maintain safety protocols
  • Coordinate emergency response procedures
  • Manage insurance claims and risk mitigation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • 3-5 years of facilities management experience in commercial real estate
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures
  • Proficiency in property management software
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Professional certifications (FMP, CFM, or similar) preferred
