Role Overview
As a Creative Strategist, you’ll lead the development of high-impact video ad concepts grounded in research, data, and consumer insights. You’ll work with UGC creators, editors, and media buyers to guide the full creative process, from idea to iteration. While video editing skills are a plus, your primary focus will be creative direction, strategy, and communication, especially with clients.
Responsibilities
• Lead creative strategy and ideation for paid social ad creatives (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
• Conduct research on target audiences, competitors, and market trends to inform creative angles
• Develop hooks, scripts, and briefs based on deep consumer insight and brand goals
• Collaborate with video editors and UGC creators to ensure content aligns with strategy
• Use performance data (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, ROAS, etc.) to iterate and optimize creative
• Present creative concepts and performance insights to clients in a clear, compelling way
• Stay current with direct response trends, viral formats, and platform updates
You’re a Great Fit If You…
• Have 3-5 years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, or content direction
• Are confident running client-facing calls, presenting strategy, and leading conversations
• Can write scroll-stopping hooks, angles, and short-form ad scripts
• Understand how to connect product features to audience pain points and emotional triggers
• Work well with editors, creators, and internal teams to bring ideas to life
• Love using data to inform creativity and continuously improve results
• Bonus: Have basic video editing skills or understand post-production workflows
