Responsibilities
- Lead the governance initiatives within technology, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
- Establish and maintain metrics to measure compliance, risk management, and performance effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of governance practices with business objectives.
- Supervise and guide a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Participate in the design and implementation of governance frameworks and policies for technology.
- Evaluate new technologies and practices, providing recommendations based on governance principles.
- Act as a liaison between various teams to facilitate effective communication regarding governance issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Proven experience in a governance-related role within the technology sector;
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards applicable to technology;
- Experience with risk management and performance metrics development;
- Ability to lead and mentor technical teams;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Proficient in developing and implementing IT policies and standards.
