Fragrances Application & Creation Lab Coordinator, your future role?
Working on-site in our Fragrances production facilities in Malvinas Argentinas, Buenos Aires Province, and reporting to the Regional Applications Manager, you will join a team of passionate shapers of the best fragrances in the world.
Your primary goal in this position will be to manage the activities and the team of our Fragrances Application, Creation & Stability lab, providing technical support to our Sales and Development teams to meet our customers' needs, contributing to the growth of our business.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Coordinate the activities of the Fragrance Creation and Application Laboratory, including samples preparation for internal and external clients.
- Prepare fragrance applications on different bases to meet the needs of the Development teams.
- Define sample weighing priorities with the Sales and Development teams and provide them with samples.
- Allocate human, material, and technological resources to meet business project schedules.
- Perform fragrance stability assessments with clients or the Sales and Development teams.
- Provide technical support to the Sales and Development teams, and to our external clients.
- Manage the lab expenses and CAPEX budget, defining investment needs.
- Develop new formulations and search for new ingredients that create value in our clients' products to create business opportunities.
- Manage procurement of supplies and materials necessary for laboratory operations by managing inventories. Ensure the stock of raw materials, bases & packaging.
- Manage the development of your team members, identifying improvement areas and training opportunities.
- Communicate with the sales, application, evaluation, production, and quality control departments.
You?
- Your professional profile includes:
- University degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmacy, or similar fields.
- At least 6 years of laboratory and product formulation experience, or in a related field such as R&D, in the fragrance, cosmetics or chemicals products industries, with background in multinational companies.
- At least 2 years of experience leading laboratory teams.
- Technical knowledge of fragrances and fragrance product categories, formulation, and application.
- Knowledge of good laboratory practices, handling laboratory equipment and safe handling of chemicals.
- Understanding of laboratory techniques applied to perfumery.
- Understanding of ISO protocols.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
- Upper intermediate English level, both oral and written.
