Role Overview
You will lead the strategy and execution of Lazo’s content and visibility engine across LATAM and the U.S., blending strategic content creation with deep SEO and AEO knowledge. This is not a classic content marketing role, you'll be driving visibility engineering in a world where organic growth now includes Google, LLMs, YouTube, Reddit, and beyond. Your work will directly impact brand awareness, qualified lead acquisition, and thought leadership.
Responsabilities
- Plan, write, and optimize high-impact content: blog posts, resources, newsletters, landing pages, and thought leadership.
- Lead organic visibility strategy across LATAM & U.S.: SEO, AEO, multimodal content indexing, with a focus on future-facing capabilities including AI impact, multimodal search, schema, and non-Google visibility (LLMs, Reddit, YouTube, etc.)
- Drive technical SEO + AEO audits and implementations (tags, schema markup, site speed, visibility engineering).
- Collaborate on backlink building, partner articles, and evergreen content updates.
- Manage AI-powered content workflows (e.g. Perplexity, Claude, GPT-4).
- Own the narrative and structure for how Lazo shows up across web and search platforms, including non-traditional engines.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years in SEO strategy and execution (especially B2B, fintech or SaaS startups).
- Deep understanding of how LLMs and AI are redefining search behavior.
- Skilled in diagnostics, auditing, and implementation of SEO fixes.
- Comfortable leading visibility engineering across multiple regions.
- Proficient in tools like SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Midjourney (for visual prompts), and AI-based platforms.
- Growth mindset and ability to work asynchronously in a fast-paced, lean team.
