The Opportunity

The Strategy consultant is responsible for supporting strategy development for MetLife’s Latam business. This role conducts the required analysis and research to support the strategy team deliverables.

Success in this role requires strong skills in terms of analytical thinking, insight identification, effective communication, peer networking and solid relationship building.

The Strategy consultant is responsible for

• Execution of rigorous, fact based, quantitative and qualitative analysis to support definitions
• Research, analysis, and presentation of global and regional industry trends as well as competitor´s profiles
• Identification of relevant insights from the analyses and initial development of recommendations

You’ll collaborate closely with different business teams (mainly strategy teams in countries) and functions (mainly Finance), both at a regional and local level in an environment where every contribution is respected, and every perspective is heard.

• Develop in time a deep understanding of different businesses across the region, their relative contribution and key value drivers
• Participation in the development of frameworks and execution plans
• Participation in building compelling story telling, being able to differentiate according to audience
• Understanding corporate requirements and deadlines, being able to structure internal validations

What You Need to Succeed (Required Qualifications)

• Bachelor´s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics or related fields.
• Excellent analytical skills; good understanding of financial metrics
• Advanced level of English
• Al Least 2 of years of experience in similar roles
• Portuguese desirable
• Good writing/editing and verbal communication skills
• Highly collaborative style, predisposition to help and support other teams
• Mature, professional, and energetic presence
• Ability to establish credibility and build relationships at all levels
• Discretion to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Be solution focused and action oriented towards creating a preferred future.
