Serior Software Engineer

The Role:
This role will drive architectural decisions that ensure systems scale efficiently, mentor the engineering team to accelerate overall productivity, and establish best practices that reduce technical debt while improving code quality. The expertise provided will directly impact the ability to deliver reliable, high-performance products while building the technical foundation necessary for sustainable organizational growth.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute at a senior level to the design, development, and implementation of critical business applications.

• Work within Agile software development methodologies.

• Create and maintain technical design documentation.

• Conduct research, analysis, coding, debugging, and testing.

• Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented development environment.

• Perform QA testing on all code.

• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards.

• Demonstrate strong time management skills to meet deadlines.

• Coordinate with other departments to maintain a consistent focus on delivering high-quality outputs on schedule.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with technologies such as Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Ant, Maven, Angular, TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and cloud technologies.

• Proficiency in GNU/Linux, Shell Scripting, and Python.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI, microservices development, and distributed systems.

• Experience with IoT technologies, including AWS IoT (Shadow, Greengrass) and MQTT is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL), along with familiarity with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

• Full understanding of the software development lifecycle, with experience using tools like Jira and Confluence.

• Solid object-oriented design and programming skills, with working knowledge of design patterns.
