Where You’ll Make a Difference
• Coordinates with Project Sponsor and Divisional Engineering Director to develop Business Objectives Letter.
• Leads and provides input into developing the project objectives.
• Coordinates with the Site Engineering Manager / Regional Engineering Manager to develop project execution strategy and priorities to support achievement of business objectives.
• Coordinates with Finance to develop project economic model to support project justification and prioritization.
• Provides leadership for an effective and cohesive team by ensuring roles and responsibilities are clearly understood, team member workloads are reasonable, cross-function communications are adequate for both internal and external members.
What Makes You the Right Fit
• Bachelor or master’s degree in Process or equivalent technical experience in Engineering fields: Process / Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Bio-Tech, Food Technology Engineering
• Good understanding of the Stage Gated Model of Capital Execution process (CEP)
• Demonstrated Ability to effectively self-manage and prioritize multiple Tasks
• Demonstrated Ability to lead and work effectively with diverse Teams
How Would You Stand Out?
• Construction Safety Rules & Regulations (OSHA 510 or equivalent)
• Project Manager Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of experience in capital project management and implementing projects in active operating/production areas
• Good oral and written communication skills in English
