We are seeking a skilled Backend Development Specialist with strong scripting-level proficiency in Python to join our team. This role focuses on automating tasks, handling backend processes, and enabling seamless integration between systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about efficient backend design and internal process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Python scripts for task automation, data transformation, and backend workflows.
Integrate and consume RESTful APIs; contribute to the design and management of internal API services.
Execute fundamental SQL queries to interact with relational databases for data retrieval and manipulation.
Utilize Python libraries such as Pandas for data processing and PyODBC (or similar) for database connectivity.
Design server-side logic and processes that support internal functions and system integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and streamline backend operations.
(Desirable) Contribute to serverless implementations using platforms like Azure Functions, AWS Lambda, or Google Cloud Functions.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with Python for backend scripting and automation.
Basic to intermediate understanding of RESTful API principles and usage.
Familiarity with SQL and relational database operations.
Experience with data manipulation using libraries such as Pandas.
Understanding of backend development principles focused on system integration.
(Preferred) Exposure to serverless platforms like Azure Functions or similar.
Work Model:
This position follows a 3x2 hybrid model – 3 days in the office and 2 days remote – to promote collaboration while offering flexibility.
