Job Summary:
The Instructional Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative and engaging learning solutions. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create learner-centric content in various formats, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training, and blended learning programs. They will apply instructional design theories, adult learning principles, and creative strategies to ensure our learning programs drive performance improvement and align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Content Design & Development:
o Design and develop engaging, interactive, and high-quality learning experiences using a variety of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
o Create content for different learning formats, including eLearning, virtual instructor-led training (VILT), face-to-face instruction, job aids, and assessments.
o Develop multimedia content, including audio, video, graphics, and animations, etc.
o Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring that deadlines are met and project goals are achieved.
· Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and business leaders to gather content, define learning objectives, and ensure alignment with business goals.
o Translate technical or complex content into simple, accessible, and engaging learning materials for diverse audiences.
· Learning Technology Integration:
o Use authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or other tools) to create SCORM/AICC compliant eLearning modules.
o Integrate learning materials into the company’s Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring seamless delivery and tracking of learning programs.
· Assessments & Evaluation:
o Develop assessments, quizzes, and knowledge checks to measure learning effectiveness and reinforce key learning objectives.
o Analyze learner feedback, performance data, and metrics to continuously improve instructional content and ensure learning objectives are met.
· Continuous Improvement:
o Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in instructional design and adult learning.
o Recommend and implement innovative learning methods such as gamification, microlearning, and mobile learning.
o Ensure instructional integrity and adherence to the company's standards for quality and consistency across all learning programs.
Skills:
o Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar platforms.
o Strong knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and the ability to apply them effectively.
o Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and the ability to upload, track, and report on learning programs.
o Familiarity with multimedia production tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, etc.).
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, concise manner.
o Ability to collaborate and communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
o Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously..
Compensation: $1,200 us dollars monthly
