Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Lead to join our team in Provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina. As the HSE Lead, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing our organization's health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with local and international standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and track HSE performance metrics, preparing reports for senior management.
- Ensure compliance with Argentine health and safety regulations and international HSE standards.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels.
- Collaborate with department heads to integrate HSE practices into daily operations.
- Oversee environmental management initiatives and sustainability projects.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging HSE trends.
- Manage the HSE team and budget effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in HSE leadership roles, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety management systems and environmental compliance
- Strong understanding of Argentine health and safety regulations and international HSE standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).
- Proven experience in risk assessment, incident investigation, and implementing corrective actions.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using MS Office suite.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Intermediate to advanced level English (both written and verbal) required.
- Willingness to travel within Argentina, Chile and Peru required up to 30% of the time.
