Description:
Credit Risk Legal Entity is part of a global private side team within the Wholesale Credit Risk organization. The group has four core mandates that include a range of responsibilities covering the legal entities (crossline of business) within their respective region.
Responsibilities of the Global Team include but are not limited to:
Portfolio Mgmt. - holistic portfolio monitoring/reporting at the Legal Entity & Country level
LE Credit performs portfolio level activities; Analysis (variance, trend, concentration etc.); LE Reporting (design, monitoring, LE level technology requirements)
Elaborate materials for Board and Committee level updates (risk profiles, trends, strategy, commentary)
Frameworks; partner with relevant stakeholders to drive execution and outcome
Lead requirements for LE credit approvals
Work with Credit Risk SMEs and partners to ensure internal/external deliverables are met, focal point for LE Credit matters and escalations
Participate in the development of frameworks (e.g., IFRS9, ICAAP, Stress etc.)
Regulatory
Work on the coordination and implementation of local Regulatory Requirements (existing, proposed, amended)
Provide regulatory interpretations prior to regulatory feedback/implementation (track and minimize bespoke processes)
Participate as subject matter expert on Regulatory updates/exams & Internal/External audits, to ensure consistent messaging
Other work includes special projects that might cut across all categories.
Additionally, Credit Risk Legal Entity works closely with Credit Officers (COs), Legal Entity Risk Managers (“LERMs”), Finance, Wholesale and Firmwide Policy, Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) and Legal Entity Risk Reporting (LERR) on an ongoing basis.
Qualifications:
Qualitative and quantitative knowledge of credit risk management.
Desire to develop understanding of risk management methodologies
Ability to perform data analysis.
Good communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Able to connect the pieces in siloed structures and foster productive relationships across the lines of business, in a large matrixed organization.
Attention to detail and ability to deal with time sensitive situations.
Strong control mind-set, demonstrable partnership skills.
Experience/Education: 1-2 years of experience in Credit or Translatable Risk disciplines. Minimum Bachelors in technical field
