Salary: $1500–$1800 USD/month

About the Opportunity


Latino Legends is hiring an Accounting & HR Assistant on behalf of a fast-growing U.S.-based real estate investment and property management firm. This vertically integrated company specializes in acquiring and repositioning multifamily properties across key U.S. markets. Their mission is to elevate communities through strategic, value-driven investments—and they’re looking for a skilled professional to support their continued growth.

About the Role


This is a fully remote, LATAM-based opportunity for someone experienced in both accounting and HR processes. You’ll play a critical role in supporting the financial and people operations of the company. If you’re detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in U.S.-based back-office operations, this role is for you.


Responsibilities


Accounting Support:

  • Process vendor invoices, manage payments, and track payment statuses

  • Assist with monthly and quarterly financial reports, reconciliations, and journal entries

  • Track rent collections and expenses using property management software (e.g., AppFolio or similar)

  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements

  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes


HR & Payroll Support:

  • Administer payroll (bi-weekly or monthly) for internal and field teams

  • Track hours, PTO, and time-off requests

  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance

  • Support onboarding/offboarding: offer letters, documentation, and system updates

  • Assist with benefits administration and employee questions

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. employment and payroll laws


Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounting, payroll, and HR administration

  • Proficient in QuickBooks and ADP (or similar systems)

  • Strong Excel and Google Suite skills

  • High attention to detail and discretion with confidential data

  • Self-starter who works well independently and in a team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, HR, or a related field (preferred)
