Long Description
Principal Accountabilities
- Coordinate schedules with specialized channels and conduct follow-up business visits.
- Develop strategies to identify business opportunities by presenting monthly growth and improvement plans to commercial channels.
- Supervise sales forecasts and make adjustments to assigned accounts using the consumer product and/or solutions portfolio through 2nd-tier distributors.
- Execute marketing programs for the development of the consumer line. Identify, evaluate, recruit, and develop new distributors for the implementation of commercialization plans and programs.
- Coordinate with other departments on activities related to: support requests, pending orders and availability, demo equipment, events, and training sessions.
- Assist with special projects, marketing programs, bidding programs, delivery of materials and equipment, promotions, and business plans.
- Analyze results against sales targets, visits, training sessions, events, demos, projects, marketing programs, channel recruitment and development, special support, and business plans. Establish action plans to correct deviations and/or leverage new opportunities.
- Prepare reports, monthly sales forecasts, channel and product objectives, purchasing requirements for special projects, demo equipment requests, internal and external meeting lists, activity schedules, and written budgets for pricing and/or special conditions.
Principal Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as an Account Manager, primarily in the consumer technology sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration or related (completed).
- Experience managing sell-out and sell-through with technology wholesalers.
- Willingness to travel.
- Proficiency in Office applications, especially Excel.
- Experience with e-commerce and marketplaces is a plus.
- English language: not mandatory.
Education
E - Completion of an undergraduate program required (B.A. or B.S.).
