As a Workday Time Tracking & Absence Consultant at Kainos, you'll join a high-performing team to implement and configure enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base—typically leading a dedicated project workstream. You’ll build strong relationships with clients, deliver solutions aligned with their business needs, and support junior team members with mentorship and knowledge-sharing.
Lead a functional workstream throughout the full Workday implementation lifecycle
Configure and deploy Workday Time Tracking and Absence solutions
Guide and advise customers, helping shape fit-for-purpose, commercially viable solutions
Support junior consultants through mentorship and training
Collaborate closely with the customer to assess needs, manage expectations, and resolve issues
Present and explain complex functionality or solutions in workshops and demos
Contribute to internal improvements and tools/processes within the practice
Support sales activities, including estimating delivery for work packages
Rotate through different delivery services (Consulting & AMS), delivering work to defined SLAs
2+ years of hands-on Workday Time Tracking & Absence configuration experience
Strong understanding of core Workday Time Tracking and Absence modules
Excellent customer focus and stakeholder management skills
Strong consulting skills: workshop facilitation, presenting, and solution explanation
Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Commercially aware, with an understanding of project/business dynamics
Capable of leading workstreams independently
Experience working in or with Application Management Services (AMS)
Willingness to travel to client sites within the region (minimal out-of-region travel may be required)
Workday Time Tracking and Absence Certification
Previous experience in Application Management Services (AMS)
Understanding of service utilization metrics within a services organization
