Workday Reporting Associate
As a Workday Reporting & Analytics Consultant, you will be responsible for driving customer transformation in their Workday experience through the revision and creation of Workday reports and analytical tools based on both customer requirements and our own capability best practices.
You will work as part of a team responsible for delivering projects for customers of all sizes, across multiple industries. You will quickly become a specialist within your field, providing mentorship and oversight to more junior team members.
Training will be provided for the role, and role expectations will be in line with the band of the successful applicant.
All the standard Workday Consultant responsibilities for the Kainos bands apply as per the successful applicant’s current banding.
MINIMUM (ESSENTIAL) REQUIREMENTS:
Strong customer orientation, with experience in a customer-interacting, advisory environment.
Ability to understand customer needs and build relationships. Able to understand when to escalate issues.
Clear and effective communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation.
Good commercial awareness and sound understanding of project and business dynamics
Capable of working within (remote) teams and alongside customers, as well as on your individual tasks with no supervision
Able to plan own workload and meet deadlines
Some consulting skills e.g., presenting, participating in workshops, explaining functionality or solutions to customers
Able to apply all relevant standards and procedures to your own work, maintaining high quality, accuracy and attention to detail
Aware of the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures security of information at all times
Awareness of the Kainos story and wider business offering
Awareness of company strategy and how to support it
Capable of suggesting enhancements in tools and/or processes to benefit the practice
Willing to learn in depth about relevant subject matter e.g., international regulatory requirements
Able to rotate through various Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management Services
For Application Management Services, able to deliver work to meet defined Service Level Agreements
Able, if required, to travel to customer sites in the same region (minimal out of region travel may also be required)
DESIRABLE:
Workday Advanced or Composite Reporting Experience is desirable for this role
Solid understanding of Workday products (HCM/Payroll/Financials) as well as any specialist capability
Strong preference for candidates with a Workday Reporting Certification
Prism/People Analytics Experience preferred
Experience in post deployment services
Experience in reporting, analytics, or data visualization using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft) or similar platforms.
Knowledge of HR or Finance processes.
Experience in consulting or client-facing roles.
