Primary Location: Argentina (AR) - Santa Fe - Granadero Baigorria
Major Purpose
Lead strategic sourcing activities, supplier management, and manufacturing project support, ensuring timely availability of materials, operational efficiency, and meeting cost, quality, and deadline objectives. This role is key to ensuring the plant's operational continuity and developing strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with plant objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, and conditions with suppliers, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
- Coordinate quotation processes (RFQ), cost estimates, and tooling release.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and finance to resolve design and supply issues.
- Oversee the transition of parts from development to production, ensuring correct configuration in ERP systems (SAP/MRP).
- Measure and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the area.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, cost reduction, and risk mitigation in the supply chain.
- Deliver a budget for the area and conduct complex analyses on budget progress.
- Use the organization's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions to build their capabilities. Provide training or coaching to others throughout the organization in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
Requirements

University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.

Minimum 5 years of experience in supply management or industrial purchasing.

Advanced knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP).

Advanced English (oral and written).
