Job Summary
The Senior Incoming Quality Control Engineer is responsible in ensuring the inspection, testing and qualification of raw materials based on Advanced Energy standards, regulatory requirements and customer expectations. This position will oversee IQC operations and work with cross functional teams to ensure smooth flow of raw materials from receiving to production floor.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding and Probationary Process Management
- Oversees IQC operations at the factories, including the inspection and qualification of all raw materials.
- Ensure factories comply with the company standards and good documentation practices by providing accurate records of inspection, test results, and other quality related documents.
- Continuously develop IQC inspection, testing and qualification processes according to AEI and other standards as necessary.
- Prepare and submit reports on quality control activities, including inspection results, audits and non-conforming reports.
- Support internal and external audits, including customer and other regulatory inspections.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or relevant field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in quality control ideally in electronics and semi-conductor manufacturing industries.
- Expert knowledge on ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO 14000 and other industry standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different partners
- With in-depth experienced in Electrical, Mechanical, PCB, E-Mech and Magnetics commodities Inspection processes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in root cause analysis as applied in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledgeable in SAP/Oracle systems
