Role expectations
We are seeking a proactive IT Systems & Security Manager to take ownership of our cybersecurity posture, oversee our year-end 2025 migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, and ensure the smooth delivery of IT services company-wide. While you will manage day-to-day help desk support, your primary focus will be on protecting our systems, leading migration initiatives, and driving technology improvements.
This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise, strong security awareness, and the ability to manage projects from planning through execution. You’ll work closely with leadership to implement best-in-class IT practices, maintain compliance, and ensure our systems are secure, efficient, and resilient.
Key Responsibilities
Cybersecurity Ownership
Lead all cybersecurity initiatives, including threat monitoring, vulnerability scanning, phishing simulations, and incident response.
Administer and monitor security tools including Datto RMM, Datto EDR, BullPhish ID, Graphus, Dark Web ID, and SaaS Alerts.
Enforce company-wide security protocols, including MFA, password management, encryption policies, and endpoint protection.
Stay ahead of emerging threats and recommend proactive measures to strengthen our security posture.
Systems Migration Leadership
Serve as the project owner for the 2025 migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365.
Create and execute the migration plan, including timelines, testing, user communications, and training materials.
Oversee the configuration and deployment of Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint for all staff by the November 1, 2025 go-live date.
New Employee Onboarding:

Provision user accounts and permissions in Kaseya One’s Identity Management module.
Support Google Workspace until October 31, 2025, then migrate staff to Microsoft 365; setting up Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint on the November 1, 2025 go-live date.
Hardware, Software, and Troubleshooting:
Install and update operating systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace apps (pre-migration), and business applications across Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints.
Leverage Kaseya VSA for remote diagnostics: push patches, run scripts, and collect logs.
Respond to and resolve Level 1/2 support tickets via Kaseya Service Desk, email, phone, and Slack, escalating complex issues as needed.
Monitoring & Maintenance:
Monitor system health dashboards in Kaseya RMM, Datto RMM, and Datto EDR.
Deploy and manage antivirus, firewall settings, and vulnerability scans through Kaseya One Suite.
Monitor system health dashboards in Kaseya RMM, Datto RMM, and Datto EDR; respond to alerts from BullPhish ID, Graphus, Dark Web ID, and SaaS Alerts.
Assist with password resets, MFA rollouts, and enforce company security policies.
Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories in Kaseya’s Asset Management module.
Track license usage and renewal dates; retire decommissioned equipment per SOPs.
Technical Documentation & Continuous Improvement:
Document IT processes, troubleshooting steps, SOPs, postmortem, and best practices to help create a knowledge base for internal use.
Stay updated on the latest IT trends, tools, and security practices to ensure our team has the most efficient and secure technology in place.
Recommend and pilot new tools to streamline IT operations and bolster our security posture.
Qualifications:
Required:
2+ years in Level 1/2 IT support or systems administration.
Hands-on experience with Kaseya One Suite (VSA, Service Desk, Asset Management).
Proven track record managing Google Workspace and executing Microsoft 365 migrations.

Preferred:
Familiarity with Datto RMM, Datto EDR, BullPhish ID, Graphus, and Dark Web ID.
