Eramine Sudamérica SA is a subsidiary of Eramet, a global French mining and metallurgical group. It is located in the Centenario Ratones Salt Flat, at 3,800 meters above sea level, in the department of Los Andes, in the province of Salta, Argentina.
Exploration activities began 12 years ago and, at the end of 2019, our pilot plant began operating, providing a demonstration of the quality of the final lithium carbonate product, with more than 90% direct extraction efficiency.
Head of Communications
Description:
The Head of Communications of Eramine defines the communication strategy to promote the vision, actions, standards, and results of Eramine Sudamérica SA. Designs and implements short- and medium-term communication plans. Promotes a positive image of Eramine and Eramet to its internal and external stakeholders in order to preserve and develop the company’s reputation.
Reports to: CEO of Eramine and functionally to the Eramet Group Communications Director
Location: Office – Salta, Argentina
Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the General Manager of Eramine and the Group Communications Director, and in coordination with the Eramine management team, the Head of Communications of Eramine will be responsible for:

Proposing and implementing the Eramine communication strategy and plan, in line with Eramet’s global strategy and in close collaboration with other departments (corporate affairs, human resources, environment, community relations, operations, etc.).

Coordinating Eramine’s external and internal communications, ensuring consistency of messages and communication media.

Overseeing, updating, and developing all direct and indirect communication channels of Eramine (websites, social media, internal media, stations and trains, events, press relations, editorial media…) to strengthen the Eramine brand and improve its image with all stakeholders.

Proposing and implementing the production of content necessary to energize and update each internal and external communication channel, ensuring that the subsidiary’s needs align with its resources.

Managing the Eramine Communications team and department, ensuring that the subsidiary’s needs align with the skills of the team and its service providers.

Overseeing the performance of communication initiatives (budgets, performance indicators) and ensuring regular reporting to Eramine management and the Group Communications Department.
Your profile:
- Master’s degree (5 years of higher education) in Communication, Journalism, or Business Administration.

At least 10 years in a 360° communication role, preferably in high-profile industrial groups or in a communication agency working for such clients.

Strategic vision, B2B/B2C communication experience, crisis management, planning and implementation of communication plans, use of tools such as press, social media, intranet, and visual production, as well as excellent writing skills and fluency in Spanish and English.

Collaborative work with management and communication teams, good communication with executive levels, creativity, active listening, and open-mindedness.

Proactivity, availability, adaptability, diplomacy, practical thinking, and appropriate handling of crisis situations.

Availability to travel mainly in Argentina: at high altitude (4,000 meters) and to Buenos Aires. Occasional travel to France and abroad.
