Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven E-commerce Regional Director to lead and scale our digital commerce operations across multiple countries in Latin America. This role will oversee both commercial and technical aspects of our e-commerce ecosystem, including owned websites, marketplaces, and digital channels, within the mobile industry. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with deep expertise in e-commerce, cross-border team management, and digital growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the regional e-commerce strategy aligned with business goals and market dynamics
- Lead country-level teams to drive performance, innovation, and operational excellence
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align digital initiatives with broader commercial and brand strategies
Commercial Oversight
- Monitor and optimize sales performance across platforms (websites, marketplaces)
- Oversee pricing, promotions, catalog management, and conversion strategies
- Ensure accurate stock planning and demand forecasting in coordination with supply chain teams
- Analyze KPIs (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to identify growth opportunities and risks
Technical & Operational Management
- Supervise technical operations including platform configuration, integrations, and deployments
- Act as the primary interface between regional squads, IT, and external technical partners
- Translate business needs into technical requirements and oversee implementation
- Ensure smooth execution of launches, updates, and e-commerce enhancements
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing, CRM, Product, and Logistics teams to deliver a seamless customer experience
- Support digital marketing initiatives through testing, QA, and performance analysis
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement across the region
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Proven experience in regional e-commerce leadership, ideally within the mobile or tech industry
- Strong understanding of both commercial and technical aspects of digital commerce
- Experience managing multicultural teams across different countries
- Advanced English proficiency
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, OMS, marketplace operations, and digital analytics
