In this opportunity the Latin America Economics Research team is looking a new intern.
The team is responsible for all macroeconomic forecasting for the region as well as the analysis of public policy developments and impacts on market variables. The team provides support to multiple lines of business in the Corporate and Investment Bank.
Job Responsibilities:
- To support the economic research team in regularly updating countries’ databases, including the automation of existing spreadsheets using computer programming language
- To contribute with the elaboration of daily news reports on key economic and market relevant developments in the Latam ex-Brazil and Mexico countries
- To assist with the update of regional presentations and data requests from different LOBs
- To support senior economic team with the elaboration of research reports on main economic and political developments in Latam ex-Brazil and Mexico countries
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills:
- Advanced student of Economics, Actuarial, Data Science or related careers.
- Knowledge in data programming (e.g. Python) is strongly preferrable
- Strong oral and written English skills
